While in Mauritius, Vijay worked on a variety of project typologies including single and multi-unit residences, a commercial building, office towers, service buildings and a hotel. As an Architectural Assistant, his role has primarily been in design development, production and coordination of documentation for various stages of the projects, site supervision and quality control, as well as meet clients for design discussions and project presentations.

He joined Hlynsky + Davis Architects Inc. in May 2016 as Project Designer and has been involved in single family residential projects and renovation works at University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University.
